A few honest questions

Why is the canvas free?

Because Workshop doesn’t run AI for you. The canvas, the artefact templates, the live sync to Claude Code — that’s us. The AI work runs under your Claude Pro or Max subscription. We’re not going to charge you twice.

Do I need Claude Code?

You’ll get more out of Workshop with it paired — the AI can read and write your canvas live. But you can use Workshop standalone too: fill in artefacts by hand, copy them into any AI builder. The canvas is the value either way.

Will there be a paid tier later?

Probably — for team collaboration, premium templates, or features Workshop runs itself. When it happens we’ll tell you what we’re charging for, before we charge, and grandfather the early-access cohort in.
